Developing our concepts will help us generate new ideas and perceptions that lead us to greater mindfulness and well-being. By theorizing, reshuffling, and developing new ideas, we can change our view on life by transforming our core beliefs and perceptions.
Everyone must consistently navigate the mindfulness journey by retraining themselves to think positively and strive for inner peace. Believing that you have the power within to cultivate mindfulness will help you take the necessary steps to live a balanced life. You will react differently in each situation, and better decision-making will allow you to reap rewards.
Practicing meditation and mindfulness can take you a long way towards success, as it helps you avoid making repetitive mistakes. Our inner self-perceptions significantly influence our lives. We must strive to change misconceptions that lead us astray to develop positive self-perceptions. We must continue to achieve more mindfulness in our lives. Practicing meditation and mindfulness will open doors that we might typically close on ourselves. By changing how one believes and perceives, one can develop and grow into a well-rounded, balanced person.
Our concepts are our origin. From the beginning, we all develop ideas, notions, and thoughts from influences, impressions, observations, educational sources, parents, and more. We form hypotheses and ideas based on how we comprehend and perceive.
By understanding our ways of learning, we can navigate through challenges successfully, reform, and transform our minds. However, behaviours and habits must also be considered.
Behaviours and habits form from our concepts, influenced by the impressions that shape our perceptions. The Bible tells us that bad influences reflect on our personality and concepts and can encourage negative behaviours and habits. Useful habits must then be developed through positive influences.
With this understanding, you can work on cultivating mindfulness by examining your influences. Think about the people in your life. If these people are not contributing positively, they may be hindering your mindfulness journey. You must consider removing negative influences; otherwise, you may remain stuck in the same patterns.
Who are these influences? Influences include people, places, things, etc. Consider all the nouns, and you will find the answer. Influences include effects, stimuli, inspirations, persuasion, manipulation, control, authority, pressure, weight, power, etc., and all influences shape our personality—if we allow them to.
When examining the influences in your life, also consider your environment. Does your environment hinder you from achieving your goal of cultivating mindfulness? If so, you must consider moving to a better environment.
Does your job hinder you from achieving your goal of cultivating mindfulness? Even if employees and employers have a positive attitude that reflects on you, your job might have a powerful influence that affects your life. For example, if an artist works in a pop shop, they may feel a sense of emptiness despite the positive attitudes around them. To relieve this emptiness, the person must explore their abilities, skills, and potentials, and consider changing their career. Only when the artist finds their purpose in life will they achieve a sense of mindfulness and inner peace.
We must also consider our core beliefs and adapt to new concepts and ideas that assist us in practicing meditation and mindfulness.
